Giant flat open space! If you are looking for a park with a giant open flat space, Slater park does it exceptionally. The neighborhood seems to love this park, very active tennis/pickle courts on saturday morning. There is a small amount of parking which isnt near enough for the popularity on saturday but cant complain to see people using the park and having a good time. Some picnic areas, play equiptment for the kids, basketball court, and community garden. The garden is cool to peek at and you can see the hard work put in.

Great park, well maintained. Tennis courts, basketball, a play set, pavilion with grills, and a giant field for activities.

Super nice and clean park right in our neighborhood! Plenty of outside kid structures swings and such to play on, all in good safe condition. There's a huge well mowed field that I certainly would have taken advantage of as a kid. Unfortunately, kids these days would rather stay indoors with their electronic devices.. There's also a large and clean pavilion with many picnic tables and a couple grills. Tennis courts are in mint condition as well. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is the drinking fountain that hasn't worked in a couple of years. On a hot summer day it would certainly be appreciated if the drinking fountain worked.

It's tiny, but it's perfect for an easy relaxing trip to the park with two young toddlers. With good weather, it's a great place to unwind while the kids get their energy out.
